SDCC: Teen Wolf Renewed For Sixth Season
Personally, I wasn’t aware it had burned through five seasons already, but there you are. MTV’s Teen Wolf is still on the air, and still going…..well, strong enough for MTV. It also apparently appeals to Silent Bob, who moderated the Teen Wolf panel today at SDCC. See MTV’s self-glorifying press release below.
SAN DIEGO, CA (July 9, 2015)—MTV announced today to a packed room of screaming fans during San Diego Comic-Con that hit drama series “Teen Wolf” (currently airing Mondays at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT) will return for an extraordinary sixth season. During the panel moderated by Kevin Smith, fans got a first-look at the shocking mid-season trailer, available to view here.
Today’s Comic-Con panel marked the sixth consecutive year that the “Teen Wolf” pack takes over San Diego. Cast members Tyler Posey, Dylan O’Brien, Holland Roden, Shelley Hennig, Dylan Sprayberry and Cody Christian, along with Executive Producer Jeff Davis, participated in the panel and Q & A session moderated by renowned director, writer and actor Kevin Smith.
MTV is also making a splash on the convention center floor this year with the network’s first-ever branded booth featuring top series “Teen Wolf,” “Scream” and “The Shannara Chronicles.” Fans can participate in an interactive photo booth and will be treated to their favorite stars from all three series when they stop by for signings throughout the weekend. Swag will be handed out all weekend including “Teen Wolf” Alpha eyes contacts, “Scream” t-shirts and a special San Diego Comic-Con exclusive edition of “The Elfstones of Shannara” book (on which the series is based) plus posters for all three series, and more.
In the next all-new episode of “Teen Wolf” airing Monday, July 13 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT, Stiles (Dylan O’Brien) tries to track down a fugitive. Liam (Dylan Sprayberry) tries to play wingman to Mason (Kylin Rambo) at a nightclub.
