On next week’s iZombie, Liv eats the brain of an agoraphobic computer hacker, and having now morphed into a Cheeto-consuming shut-in, must play an MMO to track down his killer.
I go on edge whenever I hear about a “case-of-the-week” network show protraying a gamer or video games in general — they are usually terrible at it. Of course, iZombie isn’t your average network show. There was some dialogue relating to Diablo 3 two episodes ago that was fairly accurate as far as I could tell. We’ll see.
We’ve gotten a drawing for each episode so far, and #6 is no exception. Behold below the poster for “Virtual Reality Bites” by someone who signs his name “Dino” (Stamatopoulos? Starburns, is that you?)
There is also, as is tradition, a video sneak peek with commentary by Rob Thomas and Diane Ruggiero-Wright. Check that out below.
Barring the sinking of California into the ocean, the next episode of iZombie should air this Tuesday at 9/8 central on The CW.
SHALL WE PLAY A GAME? — Liv (Rose McIver), Clive (Malcolm Goodwin), and Ravi (Rahul Kohli) work together to investigate the murder of a computer-hacker. Liv inherits intense agoraphobia after consuming his brains along with mad skills at computer gaming. This delights Ravi, who urges her to play and offers to help her from inside the game as they continue to search for the killer.
Meanwhile, Blaine (David Anders) becomes acquainted with someone close to Liv. Robert Buckley also stars. Dermott Downs directed the episode written by Gloria Calderon Kellett.
