    Transcript of Trump's CPAC speech:

    http://time.com/4682023/cpac-donald-trump-speech-transcript/

"But I am only against the fake news, media or press. Fake, fake. They have to leave that word.

I'm against the people that make up stories and make up sources.

They shouldn't be allowed to use sources unless they use somebody's name. Let their name be put out there. Let their name be put out."

This is the actual tweet in question:

    Donald J. TrumpVerified account‏@realDonaldTrump
The FAKE NEWS media (failing @nytimes, @NBCNews, @ABC, @CBS, @CNN) is not my enemy, it is the enemy of the American People!
    1:48 PM - 17 Feb 2017

So it's basically any news organization critical of him that he likes to call 'fake news'. And the freedom of the press, and protecting sources, is a basic tenant of our constitution. Protecting confidential sources is part of all news media. Brietbart makes up more stories than any other news source except the Weekly World News.

ATTACKS ON DEXTER FOWLER 'AN EYE-OPENER TO HOW THE WORLD IS' FOR OTHERS IN MLB

    ---------------------------------------------------------------
His wife, Darya, is from Iran. An ESPN reporter asked him about President Donald Trump’s travel ban—Iran is one of seven countries included—and Fowler said it is “unfortunate.” Unfortunate because he and Darya would like to take their young daughter to Iran one day so she can meet her cousins and other relatives for the first time. Unfortunate because Darya’s sister, according to Fowler, recently delayed her trip home to the United States from a business trip to Qatar because she didn’t want to be detained.

Fowler was not disrespectful to Trump. He did not rant and rave. He simply said the travel ban was “unfortunate.” That’s it.
    ---------------------------------------------------------------

The article continues with numerous hateful comments directed at Fowler at various sites.

"The head of the National Rifle Association says conservatives should stand up for themselves if "the violent left brings their terror into our communities."

Wayne LaPierre spoke Friday at the Conservative Political Action Conference, where he showed videos of violent protesters. He asked the crowd if they were ready to take on the left.

LaPierre said: "Show them you won't submit. We will not be intimidated."

He says members of the NRA helped President Donald Trump win the election, that "Americans wanted a fire, and we got one."

He also argues the media is a threat, saying, "You're not going to win, and you will not defeat us.""

Great, the NRA is now advocating civil war and claims the media are a threat. No crazy people will take those statements too far, right?

It's also costing tax payers A MILLION DOLLARS A DAY to extend secret services protection to Trump Tower where she resides. I think she should just divorce Jim already and get someone to help her write her tell-all book.

Turns out it was a prank.

CPAC Crowd Duped Into Waving Russian Flags During Trump Speech
That was literally symbolic of the Trump presidency. His biggest supporters don't know that they are helping Russia.

    Dan Rather speaks out:

    https://www.facebook.com/theDanRather/posts/10158259641415716

"There has been a wall of unbending support from virtually every Republican in Congress, and even some Democrats. Among many people, this will be seen as anything approaching acceptable. And mind you, talk is cheap. No one needs to hear how you don't agree with the President. What are you going to do about it? Do you maintain that an Administration that seeks to subvert the protections of our Constitution is fit to rule unchecked? Or fit to rule at all?"

As Critics Sneer, Trump Is Maneuvering to Unmuzzle Economy

Lawrence Kudlow is a conservative pundit who focuses on economics.

Some things to point out about this article.
    1. It talks about standard Republican economic package of tax cuts and regulatory rollbacks
    2. It avoids the implications of Trump's border wall and increase in immigration enforcement
    3. It avoids implications of the possibility of a trade war China and the effects of Trump's talk about abandoning the one-state policy
    4. It ignores the fact that Trump has promised to replace, not eliminate, Obamacare.

I agree with the overall GOP platform on economics, but I am decidedly skeptical about whether that platform will get implemented under Trump.
