    Agreed. He has by far become the worst character in the comic. I don't even find his one liners funny anymore. He serves no place in the comic anylonger accept for attempts at trying to retread past stories.

    If Kirkman is trying to redeem him and he is now working under Rick it would be absolutely appalling to think why any characters would be so stupid as to start working with someone who once tried to enslave you and killed several of your people.

    If he is not working with Rick than Kirkman is again just trying to bring back old storyline themes and doesn't want to kill the guy because he is an avenue for him to say perverted lines through.

    To be honest the only thing I would consider to be acceptable storytelling at this point when it comes to Negan is if we are getting the Lilly Caul approach. Where Rick's people move on and Negan is left to lead his group of survivors again somewhere offscreen.
