RIP Daryl! I'm going to miss his shaggy hair and mumbling! That poor guy never even got a real storyline.

 

It sucks that Daryl will die just when Beth comes back. O Henry could not write a bigger twist.

 

Sure he did. He just spent it crying, grunting and mumbling. It appears after season 4, they decided speaking was too out of the box for him.

 

Daryl has found true love, in a girl named Lucille.

All the others just meant he had to poop.

 

Daryl was the first one yanked out of the van. Then Michonne, Rosita, and finally, Glenn. Gimple & Company keep saying that they gave visual clues of who Negan's victim is. We saw the final shot in their point of view...if anything I would think they'd keep the point of view thing consistent. Being that Daryl was the first one yanked out of the van, I don't think he's Negan's victim. Because when they opened up the van doors...you saw Daryl's head, Michonne's and Rosita's...but not Glenn's. So that means it was Glenn's pov. Not sure if my theory makes sense, but hey, I tried!

 

Maybe we were seeing things from Beth's POV.

 

Or maybe Daryl's, as he is looking through the hole in her head.

 

That would put Beth in front of Daryl, which means she would have emerged first. Logically, then, she is still inside the van, waiting for the precise moment to jump out and take it like a champ.

 

Do you think they can play a game of cornhole with her head now?

Or maybe it was multiple points of view. It would make sense that it was one of them though, since the episode was called "Last Day on Earth" and it. It's started and ended with a point of view shot. Mind you, Daryl is the most likely to be Negan's "right hand man" and he DID kill a bunch of Negan's men with that rocket launcher.
