Rumors of filming today, as per TSDF


Danai was spotted pulling into the studio just now. Norman's truck was also spotted over there. Seems like filming has moved to the studio unless actors are showing up for rehearsals/fittings/etc..

Seems like both Rick and Daryl were filming today in Fayetteville. They have left for the day but there's still supposedly other characters and extras out there right now.

It seems a lot quieter on these boards this year, than last year? Fewer spoilers!

Do we have an idea of when the trailer is going to be released?

I think it is a combination of many things.....

Spoilers seem to be harder to come by, possibly a great deal of filming being done at the studios. And maybe TPTB have become a bit more savvy in the art of cover up.

The series is in its 8th season so it is natural that interest will wane especially with such a controversial season as 7 proved to be. The cliffhanger, the supposed "too much violence" and "not family friendly" rantings of some have probably contributed to the decline of interest.

And aside from the show itself it is very possible that many forum members have just grown tired, bored in regard to this type of format. Honestly the decline of activity on this particular board was quite noticeable the summer preceding season 7. I have noticed a decrease of activity on other boards that have little to nothing to do with TWD.

EDIT: The trailer is set to drop on Friday July 21 during the SDCC panel for TWD. Again another indication of waning interest is that no one has posted a countdown thread to the trailer. Has me a wee bit concerned what the ratings for season 8 will look like. Hope they have put together a helluva trailer in an attempt to reignite interest.

Most of the filming is at the studio, behind the ASZ wall, or at Tyler Perry's studio.Kind of hard to get pics or info, when they do this.
It was the same during season 3, when they were at the "prison". That was also on studio property.

 

Honestly, I'm glad there aren't many spoilers. The surprise is much better. We all knew that Glen and Abraham died before the season started, it took something away for me.

As for the board, another one I belong has become a ghost town, most people have moved to groups on facebook.

 

Yeah, after the forum hack and subsequent "revamp" that left it out of commission for a number of weeks it just never was the same. Some members just never returned and many who did return were not happy with the new format.

I agree about the surprise being better. I watch Fear and not knowing or even not having the comic book as a guideline makes for a more enjoyable watch, personally speaking of course. I do watch the spoiler section during the summer because I just need to know if Jesus will actually be seen AND heard from this season
