    Such a funny movie!

Watched it over Christmas break with the family. We all loved, loved it!

I saw the previews & thought it was ridiculous. It's not on my to watch list.

I saw this last week with my mum.

She was a very strong lady to get through that awful event.

Little Men Small indie drama from last year that had a few moments of greatness. Probably deserved a bigger audience.

I watched Fighting on Netflix last night and it was pure shit. I mostly watch the MST3K episodes these days, some of them are really funny.

Same here. I've been watching them ever since they premiered last weekend, but I'm trying my best to take my time with them so I don't run out of episodes too quick. Sadly, I've only got two left. Then it's gonna be a long wait till the next season, which I'm sure will happen even though it's not confirmed yet.

Saw Ghost in the Shell. It was fair at best. They probably could have done a lot more with this film if they focused on her past to a greater degree.

This movie seemed to be universally liked, but I just felt a bit bored. There was quite a bit of Manic Pixie Dream Girl trope here too, which didn't help.

I'm bumping this because we did something interesting tonight. I seldom get a chance to see new films as they come out any more but tonight we went as a family to the Dryden Theater for the 30th anniversary showing of Die Hard screened in the original 35mm format. It was great watching it on the big screen again with an audience. The guy who introduced it said it was NOT a Christmas film (it was released in July 1988) but I beg to differ. I think it deserves a space on anyone's favorite Christmas movies list, true? After all, why did they decide to show it now? Mixed message left open to interpretation I say.

Spider-Man dimensions. Probably the best Spider-Man movie.
They even took some shots at Toby McGuire and some nods to other spidey flicks. This could be a recurring series.

Couldn't sleep last night so I watched Ms. 45, one of the very few Abel Ferrara films I hadn't seen yet.

Not one of his best... :)

Significant other likes weird horror and old movies. Got roped into Hell House.

I recommend High Tension to your significant other. Not a big budget but they make up for it in strong direction.
