It was good! I sometimes get the sense that the show makes things weird just for the sake of being weird. Like why does their breakfast need to arrive via tiny boat? It doesnt make sense, but i like that the show doesnt take itself seriously in that manner, and i think those quirks actually add to the experience in this show, whereas in other shows i might call it a cheap trick.
I'm liking season 2 so far. Its almost as bizarre as Twin Peaks Season 3, but not quite. David is being kind of stupid right now, blindly assuming that the future vision of Syd telling him to help Farouk find his body is legit, and not a trick.
Episode 2 in particular was very good. They did touch a bit on David's potential foolishness in going down that path when he revealed it to Syd and then she agreed that he should help Farouk. I'm enjoying the show too. Speaking of Twin Peaks, Mark Frost is interested in doing a Season 4 and Lynch seems open to it, but it'd be a few years down the line.
Anyone still watching this? I'm enjoying the final season. It's interesting how they've worked Charles into the story.
