He keeps using that word. I don’t think it means what he thinks it means.

Yes he does. It means his poll numbers are down and he needs to whip up his base. Its an emergency to the only person in the nation who matters. HIM!!

He said he plans on losing the lower courts but.... winning the supreme court. Bart to the rescue.

He might have Bart, but Roberts is pretty level headed, and fair.
If the law says Trump must prove an emergency, and he can not do so, then I think Roberts will rule against him.

Not to mention, it could take years for it to go through the lower courts.

You think Trump will change his mind on things during his second term? I find that unlikely.

I think it's a pictograph-kinda puzzle. di<E is shorthand for "Princess Diana is not as important as Queen Elizabeth II". This is true, but I don't know how it's relevant to the thread.

Mueller wants Manafort to do 20+ years in prison. Manafort is 69 years old. He would probably do less time if he shot someone. In summary then, thanks to the Mueller investigation he'll spend the rest of his life in prison for NOT helping Trump and the Russians collude to win the election.

"Special Counsel Robert Mueller is asking a federal judge to sentence former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort up to 24 years in prison and order him to pay as much as a $24 million fine.

A federal jury in the Eastern District of Virginia in August convicted Manafort on eight counts of bank and tax fraud, making him the first campaign associate of President Trump found guilty by a jury as part of Mueller’s probe."

The Dems seem to be coming around to letting Northam stay in office, which to me is REALLY shocking. Trump declaring a national emergency shocking. If they are going to allow someone wearing blackface and posing with the KKK to remain as governor, and it shouldn't be surprising to anyone if future conservatives tell them to take a hike when they act outraged about something. Overall this might be a good thing for the country.

Oh, but putting Northam on the same page as Lincoln or Obama -- not happening, imo.

    "
When Maher asked Emanuel what Northam should do to resolve the situation, Emanuel struggled to articulate a response.

    “You seem nervous,” Maher reacted.

The term-limited mayor began by telling Maher that he thought Northam was one of two people appearing in racist attire in the photo. But then Emanuel defended Northam's efforts to remain in office despite calls for his resignation.

He then compared Northam's potential for redemption to President Barack Obama’s evolution on gay marriage and to President Abraham Lincoln's emergence as "the Great Emancipator" despite not having set out to end slavery.

Some folks think Trump is a lot sicker then what we are led to believe
Him this morning without his hair. And a swatch of spray tan missing from his face.
