Mecha Break features 60 players in highly customizable mech suits battling it out on a huge 256 by 256 square kilometer map. The game launched its closed beta 6 days ago, you can register here to play. Please note Mecha Break is currently in development for PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S.

The game's combat system is intense and varied. At full strength, you can traverse the landscape quickly and deliver powerful melee and explosive attacks. When the going gets tough, Mecha Break is a weighty fight to the death.



“There are three pillars,” CEO and Mecha Break executive producer Kris Kwok explains. “Speed, power, and firepower. These are the big differences from human-based shooting games. It’s about the acceleration, up to 400 or 500 kilometers per hour, and then the collision between the mech and the environment. It’s not like shooting a gun or a bullet. You can rain fire on your enemy in one second.''

A game like Mecha Break requires patience to master. You might equip a lance that seemed like a good idea, and then spend the rest of the round trying to bash yourself into enemies to help your teammates.
