Wow, what a fantastic movie. 3/4th well filmed well crafted buddy western with some violence, some comedy and very likable characters and 1/4th incredibly horrific, gory and violent. Highly recommended.

The backup deputy agrees! Fun film. Also good to see Kurt Russel acting again.

Russel did a great job, but Chicory stole the show.

Also, in my opinion, the movie has one of the most gruesome death scenes ever, still has me somewhat disturbed.

That scene almost make me puke when I watched it by first time, in a web site that talked about gruesome scenes in movies. Later, when I watched the full movie, I just walked away a couple of minutes until it finished.

I thought it was an OK film, but it lacked something, like tension.

There was some good acting from Kurt and and Matthew Fox, but overall I didn't find the movie scary or that entertaining.

It wasn't straight to DVD which I was surprised about.

I recently saw this... It had a little bit if wannabe Tarantino in it (some dialogue) mixed with Brutalism from another director I can't place atm.. maybe refn (valhalla rising?) or someone who's emerged recently... hm..

Anyway I enjoyed this and would recommend it too
