    Anyone watched the first episode this week of the new tv show Hannibal ??

    Just watched it, wow what a good episode !

    Not sure what I think of the casting of Hannibal lector though..

    Gillian Anderson also has a regular role in the show..

    Me too, I'm still an xfiles fan..

    I watch the 9 season box set every year or two..

    A little bit slow maybe but I give it an 8 anyway, good acting and the cinematography was just gorgeous, it's too good from being of NBC, I hope they don't cancel it... next episode looks even better

    I'll always be a fan too. It was huge. My fave season was 6 with the Christmas episode and the one where Mulder switches bodies with the Area 51 guy. I'm not good with episode names anyway that season had a lot of episodes I loved and Mulder was hot, ha!

    I saw the preview for next week and Gillian looks great. The show is creepy. It's going to be repeated this Wed and I'll rewatch cause I wasn't paying full attention, but Hannibal called that guy to alert him about the cops right?

    Yes Dr Lector called hobbs to tell him the FBI were coming for him..

    Like Mulder, I was a bigger fan of Scully. Scully rocks !!

    IMBD has Anderson listed as appearing in four episodes, starting with 1x07 which airs on May 16

    They really teased us when they showed Gillian in a promo right away. I didn't think it was only for a few episodes but I'm going to stick around for her.

    I rarely watch things on commercial tv because the frequency of the ads drives me bonkers. I gave up watching Underbelly for this reason. I usually prefer to wait till they come out on DVD. I'll give Episode 2 a go though since some people seem to really like it and it is an interesting premise. I think the casting of Mads Mikkelson as Hannibal is inspired. He is a really good actor and as soon as I saw his name I thought "yes, that will work". He's really one of those chameleon actors.

    I wasn't completely sold on Mads Mikkelson as Hannibal after watching the first episode..

    2nd episode I thought he was a fantastic choice..
