Thank God Romero turned down that invitation. It sounds like he would turn the show into one of his goofy political messages. He has not made a good movie since 1978. These Walking Dead producers are far from perfect but they have still done a great job. Romero and Fulci may have started the zombie craze but neither one of them ever made anything as good as The Walking Dead. Put a fork in both of them because their done.
