It seems like Eugene is the only character that heals normally. Still bruised up from that night. Everyone else get gun shots and cuts and stabs and they are healed in the next two episodes.

I hear ya with the commercials. I have the dvr set and plan to start watching 15 minutes into the episode so I can fast forward through them.
