Nooooooooooo! I'd been watching April on and off forever, and I can't access my FB until this evening and NOW she's in labour? argh. Silly girl.

btw, that crossed my mind briefly too, whether Maggie is mimicking April (but, April does have a bump). I remember back in the Stone Age when I was pregnant with my son, I had a noticeable bump by three months. Maggie's still as flat as a washboard. So what is the time period supposed to be now? It feels like forever when she found out she was pregnant (Maggie, not the giraffe...well, probably the giraffe too) and so much has happened, from the pregnancy announcement to Glen getting Lucille'd to Maggie winding up at the Hilltop to Maggie resting and eventually recovering to now all the plans to take down Negan ... and just so much in between. It sure doesn't seem like it's only been 2-3 months.

Kinda OT but Rosita's actress also looked not pregnant at all. Crazy. Even on talking dead I couldn't tell she was 9 months pregnant.

 

She's 9 months along?! Wow.

 

Actually I'm trying to double check. That's the way she made it seem on Talking Dead, but maybe they were just joking around...

 

Some women don't really show much until 4 or 5 months. Add in the fact that women in the ZA aren't likely gorging on food due to lack of access and the fact that they are living a much harsher lifestyle, it's probable that she may be 4 or 5 months and not really showing. It might not really be that long anyway. It seems like a long time to us because we found out over a year ago but we all know that the show time line doesn't really have a direct link to real life time

I agree too that it may not be as long as it seems...the ultrasound can zoom in and make it look like the baby is larger, when really they are still the size of a bean.

 

I think they were joking. Its only been maybe 10 to 11 weeks or so since the meeting at Alexandria where they were deciding what to do with the Quarry walkers. It was at this meeting where it was first hinted that Maggie and Glenn knew she was pregnant, but were still at a secrecy stage. So they probably had just discovered it. She's likely no more than 4 to 5 months pregnant or so.

 

Oh i think he was talking about Christian Serratos in his post...that's why i was amazed because even though she has quite a bump, she doesn't look 9 months.
