LOL Well, I personally liked Negan's beard, especially when he'd touch it and say "I have to shave this sh!t." I'm disappointed that he actually shaved it off, but I loved seeing the scene where Carl and Judith are watching him shave. It was cute in a weird way.

Althought I do prefer JDM with the stubble, he looks way more like Negan now and I love it. He's doing a better job becoming Negan every episode. I am pleased.

I'm of two minds about it. On the one hand he does look a little more psycho (and I mean that in the best Negan-y sort of way) with the clean-shaven face.

But I'm a beard man. I don't trust a man who has nothing better to do with his time than make it more annoying.

 

The beard made Jeffrey Dean Morgan look even more badass.

If the Negan cooking scene didn't win female fans of JDM, surely the shaved version really hit it out of the park. That whole shaving scene was symbolic to how a dad shows his son how to shave. The only thing Negan didn't do was have Carl put shaving cream on too like him. That would've been creepy and heart warming at the same time!

 

While I love that he shaved it as he looks more like comics!Negan, I am more of a fan of stubble on JDM.

Was funny to watch as he was saying to Carl, "Against the grain kid, against the grain."

He was definitely talking about himself there.

 

I'll bet Gimple nagged Jeffrey about shaving just for that reason.

 

A shaved Negan looks a little like a young Bruce Willis to me...lol.

And when Spencer tries to make himself a deal with Negan but got himself killed, it reminds me of the same fate of that guy in Die Hard when he tried to betray the identity of McClane to the lead terrorist.

 

I actually like him either way. The beard was nice, but... it also made me think JDM instead of Negan every time.

Clean-shaven is much more Neganesque.

 

He looks AWFUL without it. Wimpy.

 

It does grow back.

 

I don't like shaved Negan in the sense of his looks. JDM looks better with a beard. And I wish he had a little more weight on him. Negan is too skinny.

 

Afterwards, I wonder if Negan was tempted to apply a little make up: eye shadow, lipstick, etc. I think it would really suit his character.:zombies_lol:

Someone noticed how Ricks growing his beard back? Negan shaved his? We know what that means, Ricktator is BACK.

 

Normally I do not like facial hair on a man, but I'm kinda sad that the beard (stubble?) went.

The only thing I notice is that he has a flat butt, no offense to flat butts or anything (I have one myself), but it just caught my eye one episode (either the first one this season or previous season finale) and now I just can't not unsee it. Especially if he wears his leather jacket and there's a light shining from behind him. :zombies_blush:
