What did the suicide pill physically do?

    What do we think the suicide pill physically did?
    Stop her heart? Respiration?

    I guess I ask cause I am curious about her choices when she played the death scene.

    The pill was a sugar pill. Sasha died from violent orgasms at the thought of seeing Negan again.

    But seriously, the pill was probably something akin to a high dosage of arsenic or some other highly toxic poison.
    Most likely it shut down her capacity to breath, then that in turn caused a fatal stroke.
    So she did, as Eugene said, suffocate.

    Ohhhhh.... that would make sense.
    I probably put too much thought into how the actor played the scene... which didn't just seem like "it stopped her heart" or such to me.
    But what you describe actually would flow with how it was played.

    Wasn't there other female character, who took the sucide pill? I remember, seeing a clip of it. I forgot her name.
