Most of the stores that have decent boots in the area would probably be picked clean fast. Not much for high quality boots considering the population density. None of the department stores carry anything of quality. Now if you want some docksiders or dress shoes you'd be set.

The last thing I'd want in the ZA is a tenni boot flapping at me when I'm in a sticky situation. It's bad enough when I've had to walk a mile back out of the woods like that with nothing trying to kill me.

 

It wouldn't hit 500 in one day. In the first month or so is when the bulk of raiding and looting would happen. I bet the big screen store in Waldorf would be empty in a couple days. lol Poor guys, a shiny new 82" tv and no power.

 

Glad you know so much more about the area I've lived in all my life.

 

I read that Robert kirkman said this boot person would have a huge impact on the show. So... can't be someone like Dwight...

 

I'm guessing a completely new character who isn't in the comics. Excited to find out!!
