The Original Terminator Gets A Rerelease — But A Small One

by on 06/24/2015

Not too many people have been pleased with the embarrassing trailers for Terminator: Genisys, which comes out in theaters everywhere July 1. For a lot of fans, the story ended at Terminator II (and continued with The Sarah Connor Chronicles). If you say you’d rather pay for the original again than for a reboot, it’s time to prove it. That is, provided you live around or within the limited number of cities that are getting the rerelease of The Terminator, starring Norman Reedus’ boyfriend, on the big screen.

June 25 – B & B Theatres, Leawood, KS
June 25 & June 26 – Waco Hippodrome Theatre, Waco, TX
June 27 – ArtsQuest Frank Banko Alehouse Cinema, Bethlehem, PA
June 27 – Belcourt, Nashville, TN
June 29 – Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, Richardson, TX
June 30 – Marcus Theatres Corporation, Milwaukee, WI
July 2 – Harvest Moon D/I, Gibson City, IL
July 4 – Moxie Cinema, Springfield, MO
July 5 – Alamo Drafthouse Vintage Park, Houston, TX
July 9 – Jean Cocteau Cinema, Santa Fe, NM
July 10 & July 11 – Landmark Tivoli Theatre, St. Louis, MO
July 11 – Landmark Main Art, Royal Oak, MI
July 24 – Camelot Theatre, Palm Springs, CA

Is it just me or did the Angry Video Game Nerd Movie have more screenings? Oh well. The flick is being brought back by the distribution company Park Circus, who are also rereleasing it in more than twenty countries. This is one instance where it pays to live in Texas. For those who can’t make it, there’s always the Blu-Ray.
