Okay what the hell, why did they change the storyline in the show. Shane is supposed to be shot by Carl when Rick and Shane have a confrontation about the attack on the camp near the end of book one Episode 4-5 in the TV Series. Someone start the comment battle here!

Yeah in the comic Shane dies early, but in the show he does not.  I guess the writers didn’t want it to follow it exactly because it would be too easy to know what is coming next.  There was an article recently that talked about the difficulty of allowing Shane to live on in regards to the shows direction.

Excellent point, I came to the same conclusion that if they followed the books too closely it would become predictable. Jakobi, do you think you could post that link to the article you mentioned here?

I missed Season 1..what i get from watching Season 2 is..anything can happen to any character at literally any time and the survivors are resorting to doing alot of terrible things just to survive..
IE: Shane shot Otis to get away from the herd at the FEMA/Medical facility…Under any other circumstance i don’t think he would have done that..i don’t know..i haven’t read the graphic novel books…this is one crazy series..the survivors are literally living with a knife at their throats everyday just to survive…

These people are literally dumbasses… I mean, all you have to do is make to somewhere like montana and build a fort, get some guns and axes (axes would wreck zombies), and grow your own food. its that easy. just don’t bring a bunch of whining kids along on the ride

Also, Sofia is one of the few characters still alive in the comic. I would suggest to anyone who LOVES the T.V. show to definatly read the comics. You can get them for a steal on Amazon!
