Last Sunday’s Episode Got A Family In Trouble With The Police
Let this be a lesson to you never to play your Walking Dead episodes too loud.
The local police force in Great Falls, Montana received a disturbing call Sunday evening from a frightened witness who said she heard screaming and sounds of violence coming from inside her neighbor’s house.
As Sergeant Jim Wells of the Great Falls Police Department told ABC News, “We heard someone screaming from a blue house about someone having a gun.” Adds Sgt. Brian McGraw, “We had a whole bunch of guys on that one.”
When they arrived they found little more than a family watching television, and one naive paranoid neighbor. “Basically, we show up, we can see a TV on inside and people talking. We will usually hang back and observe before we make contact. The windows next to the TV were open.”
Because of the open windows and the volume of the TV, the sound of things like a small child being munched were drifting next door. The police report did not mention how exactly this neighbor didn’t notice something off about that family mentioning cars, phones and insurance every eight minutes between screams.
