The Walking Dead Ratings Continue to Throttle the Competition
With no competition from big events like the Grammys, SNL Specials or the Oscars, the Walking Dead returned to the top of the ratings heap Sunday, Variety reports.
The new episode, “Remember,” introduced viewers to the Alexandria Safe Zone and drew 14.43 million viewers. That was easily the top prime-time program of the night and third best showing of the week after perennial favorites NCIS and The Big Bang Theory. It was also up considerably from 13.44 million viewers the week before, and much better than the low 12.27 million the show drew on February 15 with “Them.”
The Walking Dead also approved in the advertiser friendly 18-49 demo, drawing a 7.5 rating, up from last week’s 6.9. It’s the top program in that demo by a significant margin.
