The next time you watch a new episode of The Walking Dead, in between the excitement, take a second to realize that in that week you’re sharing this experience with 28 million other people.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, this total figure includes the 18.4 million the show gets from its live broadcast and seven day ratings, plus another “10 million from replays, on-demand and TV Everywhere views.”
The Walking Dead is still solidly walloping TV’s other big fantasy show, Game of Thrones. That show draws an average 18 million weekly viewers. Still impressive, but it’s clear people prefer walkers over white walkers.
