I like Merle too. Kinda hoping that when he meets Daryl that he will change his ways, but I don't think that will happen.

 

It will definitley be a huge event! I think Daryl saying that he would go out and play with other kids when Merle wasnt around was a huge hint about how there meeting will pan out!

 

Figuring out the message probably took a minute longer than just reading it would, maybe she needed them to be distracted for a bit longer.

No, Merle's going to die. Last episode where merle and andrea were talking there was hope that merle had changed, but this episode he showed he was no different than a rattlesnake. He's either going to win, or die losing, and the show's not about him.

 

Everyone's gonna die eventually.

 

She could of gone a bit further and used some adjectives on Merle by calling him a dick head or asshole or something similar. That would of taken only a few extra seconds.

I know Merle is going to die. Probably very soon. I just wish he wasn't going to. I like his character, and I wish he would change to the good side but I know he won't.

Without going back to the scene to look at it, is it not possible that those are the parts from her pets? Wouldn't have had to risk anything but time to do it.

 

I think the body portion of her pets have long been disposed of by The Gov or Milton.

If Merle bites the dust, who is going to entertain us with those "one liners"? Michonne, who says 7 words in each episode? We need Merle around for a bit longer.

I'm ok with him dying, but let's get a healthy amount of opposition going first. Humans vs. Zombies gets a bit monotonous after a while, no?

Michonne had a good head start on Merle and company. She also apparently knew they were coming so as long as she had a plan, she had time.
